Legal Services
Mexico possesses a highly evolved and organized legal system which with few exceptions is functional. based on the Greek, Roman and French legal systems.
The fundamental difference between Mexico and the United States’ legal system is that Mexican law is based on the “Napoleonic code” (Meaning that one is guilty until proven otherwise) which is very different from what you will find in the United States. The priority of importance and enforcement starts with federal law, then state law, and finally local municipal law. Laws will differ from state to state and municipality to municipality.
In Mexico, we have a number of Premier law firms with legal professionals licensed to practice. These knowledgeable teams of business cover all types of litigations and are well-equipped to handle all aspects of representation, ranging from general business and real estate transactions to highly complex and sophisticated international disputes.
