We then decided to move forward.
Because we had to refinance our primary residence in Los Angeles to obtain the funds for the purchase, and since our bank was requiring extra paperwork and time to complete the loan in this post Covid financial environment, the unit we were interested in needed to be reserved for us for about 3 months. Claudia arranged the reservation of our condo with a modest deposit. She walked me through the necessary paper work that we needed to assemble and prepare for in advance.
As time passed and the financing neared completion, moving closer to signing the papers to finalize the purchase, Claudia was frequently and promptly on the phone with me, or texting, walking me through the best rate of exchange Dollar-to-Peso transfer, and the all of the specifics regarding clear title verification, and transfer of title.
I know it can be a daunting task for an American to purchase in Mexico. A thousand questions naturally arise. Claudia for us was highly professional , ethical in all of the transactions. She was patient, trustworthy, articulate, knowledgeable of the building complex, and effortlessly fluent in both Spanish and English. And since our recent purchase we have remained in touch.
She has treated us like family, helping us with the water and power account set-up and contractor contacts with our remodeling of the unit. Yes, she has gone the extra mile.
Therefore, we would highly recommend Claudia Pierce to anyone who is considering purchasing a real estate property in Baja California without hesitation or reservation.
