Buying a house is a great event,
Buying a house in a foreign country can be scary,
Buying a house with a good agent at your side becomes a joy!

My wife and I decided to look for a house on the Northern Baja coast in May of this year. We knew the area from previous trips fairly well and had a concrete idea where we would like to buy (Bajamar).

We heard about scary experiences other Americans had with buying a property in Mexico, so we were a little nervous about it.

Once we approached BAJA123 and got to know our agent Claudia, these concerns were quickly replaced by all the valuable information she gave us regarding the property buying process in Baja.

Claudia does know the process in and out, and she also can explain the differences compared to buying a house in the U.S.

She showed us some other areas, but in the end, we stayed with our first love of Bajamar.

After our original offer was submitted, the whole process of getting the actual property dragged on for about 3 months, but Claudia was always on top with providing us updated information on where we stand.

We are now happy property owners in Bajamar and look back on an excellent home buying experience thanks to our agent Claudia!
