Malia Obama visits Mexico
OAXACA, Mexico – Malia Obama, The daughter of the
President of the United States spent her spring break in the historic Mexican
city of Oaxaca in the company of 12 friends.

Malia
and her friends stayed at a downtown hotel in this city famous for its colonial
architecture and well-preserved Native American traditions.
The
group was well guarded by both Mexican and 25 U.S. Secret Service agents. "We
are here to block access to the hotel by other people and escort the vehicles
that are carrying the visitors to tourism sites," a police official reported
under the condition of anonymity.
The
group, which arrived in Oaxaca, had already visited the architectural zone of
Mitla and the tree of El Tule. This tree
is believed to be one thousand years old.
