Ensenada’s Baja Naval Offers World-Class Marina and Boatyard Services
Baja Naval was established in 1987 in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. Its mission is to be the industry leader, leveraging human resources and cutting-edge technology to provide customers with a memorable experience, increasing the safety and value of their yachts.
Baja Naval’s 120,000-square-foot facility — with a 75-ton Travelift — can accommodate an average of 32 boats, worked on simultaneously. In-house workshops include carpentry, painting, linear polyurethane (LP) coating systems, blister repair, mechanical, naval architecture, hull extensions, stainless steel, mig and tig, and aluminum welding, among other services. This allows Baja Naval to work on fiberglass, wood, steel, aluminum and ferrocement pleasurecraft, providing clients with a stable and growing team of experts and artisans and a complete boatyard focused on meeting their needs.
Baja Naval owns and operates a marina offering 50 slips for boats up to 100 feet. It provides fuel, drinking water, electricity, super-clean restrooms and showers, 24-hour security, a concierge, e-mail, computer hookups and wireless Internet service. Baja Naval can also help with fishing licenses, port clearance and immigration papers.
Baja Naval adjoins a beautiful mile-long boardwalk along the port, which is ideal for afternoon walks or morning jogging. Shops, restaurants, hotels, bars and a variety of services are within walking distance, since the facility is located in the downtown area.

The company’s busiest days of the year are during the summer season and during weekend events such as the Newport-to-Ensenada Race. Please make reservations at least one month in advance during such times.
If you wish to have work done on your boat, contact Baja Naval for an appointment. Staff members can even meet with you at your boat if it is within Southern California.
