Mexico has very good public and private school systems that will allow your children to receive an excellent education. In Mexico your children will attend their local public school or the parent can pick a private school that you want them to go to.
Schools in Mexico have a similar system as the United States. For example at the ages of 3, 4, and 5 years old children will attend Pre-School. From ages 6 to 11 years old they will attend Primary School which is the United States equivalent to Elementary School. From ages 12 to 14 years old they will attend Middle School and from ages 15 to 17 they will go to High School. After graduation from High School the student can then attend College or University.
In order to enroll your child in school you will need a transcript from their last school, a birth certificate and for grades 10 on you will need a visa. You will be required to send your child to school in a school uniform that you will have to purchase. Books in public schools are provided for free up until the ninth grade. In private schools you will always be responsible for the costs of books.
